Dr Abhishek Gupta, our Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) is an experienced researcher and educator with international track record in the production and characterisation of biosynthetic polymers for potential biomedical applications. Dr Gupta has many peer-reviewed international publications in his account. Along with nanotechnology, Dr Gupta specialise in natural products with biomedical remediation applications. He has presented his research at several national and international conferences and won many awards. He has research collaborations in several countries. Dr Abhishek Gupta’s passion for scientific discovery, to help treatments for vital areas of medicine, is globally recognised, including the regional Express and Star newspaper. He was presented with the highest diasporic award, Hind Rattan Award by the NRI Welfare Society in 2021 and the prestigious International Education Award during the Global Education Summit and Conference at the University of Oxford. Dr Gupta has expertise in nanotechnology with intended biomedical applications. His published research work has been placed in the top 1% of the academic field of Biology & Biochemistry based on a highly cited threshold for the filed and publication year.

Dr Brian Johnston

Biotechnology Research Associate and the founder of iBiotech

Dr Brian Johnston is a Biotechnology Research Associate and the founder of iBiotech. He holds a PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology that he earned in 2020. During his PhD, he focused on the development of innovative methods to recycle a variety of waste plastic carbon sources for the biological synthesis of bioplastics. The bioplastic materials that resulted from his research have since found application in several sectors, including agriculture, fashion and medicine. Dr. Johnston has authored over 20 publications and received multiple citations in international scientific journals. He has also worked on two post-doctoral placements, with projects supported by both the EU and Midlands Engine. Furthermore, he has established a network of academic and industrial partnerships, including institutions such as SINTEF (Norway) and the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

Dr Dimple Chopra

Associate Professor (Pharmaceutics)

Dr Dimple Sethi Chopra is presently working as Associate Professor (Pharmaceutics) in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research (DPDSR), Punjabi University, Patiala. Her present areas of interest are biomaterial research, developing nanocarriers for probiotic DNA, development of herbal wound dressings for burn injury, designing nanocarriers to overcome antimicrobial antimicrobial resistance, pharmacokinetics, green nanotechnology, molecular nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery, nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine. She supervised a Ph.D thesis on “Preparation And Characterization of Probiotic DNA Loaded Chitosan Nanoparticles And Their Application In Modification of Selected Immunological Disorders” Her research interest includes exploring different types of nanoparticles for treatment of dementia related to various neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease. She is also actively engaged in developing nanocarrier systems for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. She has also worked on other particulate systems like microspheres and niosomes for development of controlled drug delivery systems for oral as well as topical use. She has published several research papers in national and international journals of repute. She has three books to her credit. She has several open access peer reviewed book chapters to her credit with publishing houses like IGI Global, INTECH OPEN, Studium Press LLC, USA, McGraw Hill Education (India) Private Ltd, New Delhi. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences. She is an active participant of Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN). She has been granted two Indian patents on brain permeable nanoparticles. She is an invited manuscript reviewer of many international journals like Drug Discovery today, Journal of Nanoparticle Research, drug delivery, seizure, Open Access Rheumatology: Research and Reviews, International Journal of Nanomedicine, Drug Design, Development and Therapy. She is a member of American Nano Society.She is on editorial board of many international journals.

Dr Suri has his name registered in the coveted ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for motivating over 1.25 lakh people as part of "Eat fibre, Stay healthy" movement. He is also renowned for inventing India's first home-care Piles device in India called 'GMS Piles Relief Device' which got recognised at ISURC Conference in London. He holds multiple national and international records and has many publications to his name.

Khushboo is involved in numerous research projects with her most recent one being on melanoma care post COVID. Her diverse experiences have granted her a unique perspective, having navigated both the Canadian and European medical systems.
